Mother Theresa said that her ministry, and that of her order and the volunteers that assisted them, was doing “ordinary things with extraordinary love”.
I have no religious affiliations and yet that quote strikes at my heart. We are all capable of ‘ordinary things’. And really, in this troubled world, isn’t all love extraordinary?
To me the quote means that it is the little things and our intentions that count. That compassion really has a transformative power. What does that quote say to you?
